Email Copying Features

For the sake of People Networking, there are a couple of email features that some folks are not aware of:
  • Carbon Copy and
  • Blind Carbon Copy

Most people are very familiar with typing just one recipient's email address in the "TO" block.
To send the same message to several people simultaeneously, you can type all the recipients email addresses in the "TO" block but be sure to separate the addresses with a comma and space.
example: You want to send Robert Staub and Bill Gates an email messge, in the TO block, you'd type rstaub@lunaweb.net, bgates@microsoft.com

Now, lets say you wanted to send Bill Gates an email message, and but only copy Robert Staub
Then in the TO block, you'd type bgates@microsoft.com
in the CC block you'd type rstaub@lunaweb.net

Third Scenario, lets say you wanted to send Bill Gates an email message, and get Robert Staub a copy of this without Bill Gates knowing that Robert got a copy.
Then in the TO block, you'd type bgates@microsoft.com
in the BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) block you'd type rstaub@lunaweb.net

These emailing options are very universal. If you're using Netscape, you may not be able to see the BCC block until you click-on View in the Menu Bar.
Thanks for tunin' in !
