"Spam" - The unsolicited bombardment
of information.
This refers to what boils down to being "junk
email". If you find yourself being
"spammed", here's what you do:
- Ask the sender to remove you from their mailing
list
- If that doesn't work, ask again but this time
send a copy to the "postmaster@whatever.com"
- This will usually take care of the situation. If
not, forward a copy of the Spam to your Internet
Access Provider and explain what you have done so
far.
Do not react by Spamming
the Spammer.
On an email note, DON'T USE ALL CAPITAL LETTERS
. . . THIS CONVEYS SHOUTING (unless of course you mean to
shout).

These are regular keystrokes on your keyboard that you
can use to convey a mood without the need for using
graphics. Examples include:
