Just who do we think we are?

InternetTalk is a light, entertaining and educational forum that talks about the World Wide Web and
the interesting people and companies that inhabit it. Show topics include:
  • How to use the Web to your own best advantage
  • How to help your business with the Internet
  • Using the Internet for personal enjoyment
  • Spotlighting the strangest things about the Web
  • And Internet security, to name just a few.

The show had its origins in Memphis, Tennessee on WMC AM790. During 1996 and 1997, there
were 44 one hour episodes broadcast, and it is these shows that form the basis for the RealAudio excerpts on the site.

InternetTalk is hosted by Steve Cox, a well-known Internet wacko and web site designer, whose clients range from individuals and small businesses to Fortune 500 companies such as Federal Express and Caterpillar Tractor Corp. Before his direct involvement with the Internet, Steve was an engineer with Compaq Computer Corp. and was a member of the design team for DOS® (versions 3, 4, and 5). He was also a charter member of the "Alpha Team" for the development and testing of Windows 3.0 and 3.1®.

LunaWeb's Dave Barger is the Executive Producer of InternetTalk and co-host of the show. LunaWeb has built a solid reputation as an Internet Service Provider and brings high performance websites, T3 hosting, hardware and training to the InternetTalk Roundtable. While specializing in the design of fast loading sites, LunaWeb also provides a site renovation service for existing sites.

Steve Cox's own observations about the show are upbeat and concise. "I get real satisfaction out of introducing people to the incredible potential of the World Wide Web," he says, "And Internet Talk is a great way of magnifying that." And that is the real purpose of the show. To open people's eyes to the possibilities of the Internet.
